A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away…
There was a guy who was obsessed with cars and detailing after using great products back in England, there were few available in Australia – in 2007 Car Care Products Australia was born.
We started as a purely online business while we also operated a car and boat detailing business, finding great brands from around the world and bringing them to Australia. Picking and packing on a bench in a shared unit in Rozelle and heading to the Post Office every afternoon to ensure the fastest delivery to a small number of customers.
We attracted new customers that loved their cars as much as we did, some of those customers turned into friends, some turned into employees – all share the same passion for all things car related. We grew and opened a tiny showroom of 8 shelves upstairs for local guys wanting to pick up, then grew again and moved to our ‘big’ new office and warehouse in Five Dock, with a real showroom, loads of space but a rather steep driveway to park.
We continued to travel to car shows and auto expos globally sourcing new products to bring back to Australia; first to introduce DAS6 Random Orbital Polishers, first for Snow Foam Lances, first for Paint Thickness Gauges and many other new products and exciting brands.
